Meet the team
The New Zealand Food Awards is managed by part of the Corporate Events team within Massey University. It’s fair to say we have enthusiasm, passion and big ideas in spades. We get through a season of Awards with support from our wider team, the Massey University community, our judges, and sponsors. We also have a Governance Board who is made up of key stakeholders – with extensive corporate and industry experience – to keep us accountable.
On a day to day basis, these are the people you’ll be in contact with:
Kelly leads from the front and makes things happen at a strategic and governance level. Formerly an army officer and with a background in not-for-profit events and campaigns, there’s no doubt the budget is in great hands and logistics are managed to the nth degree.

Abbie is a diversely skilled, strategic thinking marketing and events professional. 'Words, web and logistics' all fall into the category of things she especially loves to work on. The real high of events for Abbie is in the detail, seeing months of planning roll into a seamless event experience for her guests.

Andrea is our administrator extraordinaire, she provides our front-line customer service, and keeps us in line with all things related to event admin. Andrea also loves to get dressed up for event days and meet new people but it is her behind the scenes expertise that really bring our events to fruition.
